Design brief for the competition
Objective
We always strive hard to do something to make the world a better place to live in. But it always turn upside down when it comes to environmental concern and sustainability. We live in the future with all the sophisticated design and solutions but yet we are still defeated by the forces of mother nature. Besides the changing climate that is so vast, we are stuck between the desires and greediness of the authorities and the needs of the community.
The purpose of this competition is to change the perception of the future architects and designers and facing with the fact that, we want to satisfy everyone's need but yet, at the same time we are still concerned about saving the earth and making efforts to decrease the global warming effects.
Sometimes the old way is better than what we are trying to change. The passive approach is the basic key. Therefore, the prime objective of this competition, by the end of the day, is that not only to learn how to design for the future but also to incorporate the future design with a blend from the natural resources such mother nature that is abundantly surrounding us.
